Now, PFC has launched Series X of Capital Gain Tax Exemption Bonds u/s 85 of the Income Tax Act, 2025 (erstwhile section 54EC of Income Tax Act, 1961). These bonds have tenor of 5 years and the Rate of Interest for the same is 5.25% p.a. Issue of the said Series X of the bonds will remain open till 31st March 2027. (PFC reserves its sole and absolute right to modify (pre‐pone/ postpone) the said issue closing date without giving any reasons or prior notice).
